“A heart warming concert of festive delights”

We had a lovely Christmas present this week in the shape of this fantastic review of our Christmas Gala concert in the Western Mail!

The paper’s arts reviewer, Peter Collins, described the evening as a “completely satisfying, heart-warming concert of festive delights…This choir is very good indeed…The choir has a seductive, round sound that is incisive and suited to a range of styles.”

We couldn’t be more pleased to receive such wonderful feedback for our last concert of the year. Thank you to everyone who turned up to hear us on a damp chilly December night. It was a great occasion, with fantastic contributions from Robert Court (organ), the Wales Brass Consort, and of course our charity partners, Kidney Wales. A special shout-out to our soloists – Becky Donkin, Tabitha Rodway, Mared Furnham, Annie Kay and others – you were brilliant!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us in Cantemus – we look forward to seeing you at our Mozart Come and Sing Event in the New Year!
